My Picture Of The Day # 2

Photo Critique

This image was captured by a telescope and it really shows the true beauty of our universe. In this photo lies a baby black hole settled a far 13 billion light years away. It gives me a thought of Chaos preparing to burst out. As Light and Matter is drawn into the center Darkness, it wears a veil of deceitful wonder.

Forced Perspective Examples

The photographer probably used the low aperture and ISO possible because the lens was facing the sun. They gave it a look as if he were leaning the ladder on the sun to climb on up. Hope he doesn't burn.
For this one the photographer had the man stand far enough back to where it seemed he was standing on top of the coke bottle. Hm? I've heard of leprechauns, but never ones who enjoy dancing on soda bottles.
The photographer pretty much did the same thing as the last one except he used two people. I knew Giants existed!!!

My Picture Of The Day

I chose this picture because, there is a look of thoughtful depth. It is though Jared is within deep contemplation whilst becoming calmed and absorbed by his music. The weather adds an element of meloncholy and sincerity. I am proud of this photo because it happens to be an attempt on a senior picture for Jared. This captured his personality quite well.

Depth of Field (More)

Rule of Thirds

High ISO

Fast Shutter Speed- I used this to give the effect that Jared was floating in mid air A.K.A Levitating.

Shooting at the hip

Leading Lines

Slow Shutter Speed- I used this to capture a blu effect and to capture the motion of Amber's movement.

Critique 3-8

This picture used a low aperture and fast shutter speed. The ISO on this was most likely set at 800. This picture gives off a feel of cold and desolate. It is as if there are no inhabitants in the once proud and productive city. The lone statue and roaming mist is all that accompanies the decrepit streets.
This picture used high aperture and fast shutter speed. It's possible that 100 ISO was used as well. There is a scene of an ancient tomb and spot lights announcing a celebration or possibly not spot lights at all, but bursting light from within. As if a hidden treasure is yearning to be discovered.
