Photo Critique
The photographer used a fast shutter speed and either a low or high ISO it depends on the weather. This photo informs me of the oil crisis in the ocean and gives it a sort of dull, but death filled sense of abandonment. The oil covered water moves around sporadically, but can never wash the brown and black out of it's once pure liquid body.
The photographer used a low ISO and used depth of field to capture the binocular reflection. With the person wearing a safety mask and the binoculars looking as if there is a disaster happening, this picture gives me the feeling of a biological war breaking out right in front of somebody's eyes.

Photo Critique
High ISO. Very Fast Shutter Speed. The photographer obviously wanted to catch something of massive, dramatic, and dark proportions. This photo, entitled,"Mordor" was taken in iceland as the volcano erupted into the sky mixing with the powerful flash and crash of the Red Lightening Storm. Being a gamer it makes me think of Death Mountain in The Legend of Zelda: OOT.

Photo Critique
The photographer probably took this photo from a boat or a pier. It makes me think 0f a raging, dark storm roaming across the sea, ready to take out any loan sailors in it's path.
This photo was obviously taken at night and the photographer most likely used a high ISO. It gives me a feeling of serenity and calming. As if this is a memorial for the friends and family that have past or possibly a radiant garden of lights to gaze upon while dining.
It looks as if the photographer used a low ISO and a fast shutter speed. American soldiers sit and open mail from there friends and loved ones. The one of few pleasures in the service. As they read over and over the writing they imagine the voices in their heads and wish the were right there next to them.Sunday, April 18, 2010

Self Portrait Examples
1. This photograph portrays a depressing and dark feeling to it.2. It seems to have natural lighting, although it's some what hard to tell with the black and white filter.
3. The frame is important because it shows that the girl is there and even captures her image perfectly in the mirror.
4. Across the girls face is a red streak that lights up her eyelashes a bit. This self portrait sort of relates to my idea, because I like the whole mysterious and dark look.
1. This photograph portrays a thoughtful and calm look.
1. This photograph portrays a thoughtful and calm look.2. Natural window lighting is used in this photo to light up the subjects face and create shadows behind him.
3. Though you can't see the window the frame is important in this to hide the source of light to make a feeling of creativity and thoughtfulness.
4. I noticed he used a black and white filter. This fits together with my idea very well especially with black and white editing.

Photo Critique
This photo is of a indian wrestler splash hands full of mud against his face. The photographer probably used a fast shutter speed to capture that certain moment. At first, when I saw this picture, I got a feeling of a sandman falling apart and attempting to hold himself together with his still human hands.

Photo Critique
This image was captured by a telescope and it really shows the true beauty of our universe. In this photo lies a baby black hole settled a far 13 billion light years away. It gives me a thought of Chaos preparing to burst out. As Light and Matter is drawn into the center Darkness, it wears a veil of deceitful wonder.
