Critique # 3

This photo I picked because I loved the idea of a tribute to 9-11. It really gives a sense of respect and holiness. To describe this picture as rising beems of light lifting up the souls of the lost and forgotten. The top is cut off giving a sense of eternal mystery as to give an idea of a higher power.

Texture

1. The definition of Texture is when colors and shades mix together in a work of art like a painting or a photo.
2.When using texture in photography I learned that, it gives the pictures a different and interesting change in mood. It allows the camera to a capture a sort of "Abstract" feel to the photo's.
3.Texture in pictures is impotant if you wish to improve your style or emotions in them. It helps the inanimate photo become a living emotion itself.

Framing

Photo Critique # 2

This photo I chose for it's elegant sense of lighting and still motion capturing. The way this was shot makes the people in the photo look as if they are angelic or are in a piece of classic art. The beach is a very nive touch as well. The scenery makes it feel either myjestic or something from a fantasy novel.

Leading Lines and Framing

1.The Focal point of this photo is my friend Jared. The concrete line up of benches are leading to him.
2. The lines begins at the bottom of the photo and end where Jared is sitting.
3. With this photo I think I was going for more of a personal look to it, but otherwise I did an alright job with leading lines here.

1.The focal point of this photo are the two people (Jared and Destinee) looking through the glass.

2. The lines begin on the right side of the photo and end at the door frame.

3. This photo I think I did okay with. Not my best, but I definitely captured somewhat of what I was going for.

1. The Focal Point of this photo is my friend Destinee. The Metal fence and the large horizontal bar lead to her.

2.The lines begin at the left side of the photo and end where Destinee is standing.

3.I think I did pretty good with this being my first time with leading lines. I was able to capture it well.

Picture of the Week

This photo was very interesting to me when I saw it. With the lighting of the sparks flying through the air and around the cloaked figure, it seems almost magical. It gives me a thought of a mystic warrior charging forward with blazing magic and sword at the ready. Red was a very good choice of color and gave a sense of mystery or bravery.

Perceptive #3

When taking the photographs the distance and angle determine the kind of mood you wish to capture in a photo. It helps that there are endless angles and distances with pictures. It leaves plenty of room for creativity.
